The design is heat-pressed onto the mug. Unlike vinyl, you won't feel the design on the surface of the tumbler.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: No microwave or dishwasher use - wash gently. You want to avoid using abrasive cleaning products, as they could damage the mug.
